It was a great way to get the students engaged, out of their seats and getting to know their fellow classmates. If you would like the fall one, here is the link: Fall Mingle Bingo

I look forward to this time of year every year. I have had great memories participating in Light the World each year. It helps our family, as well as myself focus more on my Savior and what he would be doing. It fills my life with joy to be thinking of ways to spread light and help others. I have loved the influence it has had on my kids.

A Couple More General Conference Worksheets for This Weekend!!

I just updated my spring General Conference Worksheet so it says "April" instead of "Easter". This is a fun worksheet for Primary age kiddos, even for youth as well.

With teaching Seminary, I wanted to come up with a worksheet that the students could use for their own personal study of General Conference. I am also using this worksheet for make up work. What I love about this worksheet, is that it really makes you think about, what you got from the talk and how you are going to apply it into your life.

New Years Bingo Cards and Coloring Pages

New Years Bingo Cards and Coloring Pages,

Bingo is always a go to for any party, especially that has kids at it! I think any party I've done in elementary school, there has always been a Bingo game. As you can tell, by how many Bingo games I have designed, that I am a big fan.

So, when I was thinking about what I could do for New Years, I decided to make some Bingo cards. On the printable, there are four different cards. There are also choosing cards.

Print the New Years Bingo Cards out onto card stock, then cut them so there are four cards. If you need more than that you could just print more cards. I think it is fine if some have the same card and get Bingo at the same time. You can also laminate them, so you can use them more than once and to make them more durable.

For Bingo Markers,  you could either use pieces of candy, such as M&M's, Skittles, Smarties, Sprees, Sweat Tarts etc. Or you could just cut out pieces of paper. If the cards are laminated, you could also use dry erase markers and mark them off that way.

Click the Free download button below, to print the New Years Bingo Cards:

For the Choosing cards, you will also need to print them out one card stock. Cut them out down the middle of the lines and then you could laminate them also for durability. Choosing cards are then placed in a container, where that Bingo caller, pulls one out and tells the rest of the players which thing they can mark off.

Click the free download button below, to print the Choosing cards:

To play this New Years Bingo game. Have the caller pull out a card, players mark it off. A player gets Bingo, when they have marked off 4 in a row either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. You could have little treats or prizes for when someone wins bingo. You could also play to blackout. That is when everyone fills their entire card out.

I have great memories of playing Bingo when I was little, it was one of my favorite games, that and memory. I hope that this free printable game, can bring some fun and entertainment to you New Years Party!! Happy New Years!!

One of my very most favorite things to do is to go to Swiss Days in Midway!! This year it is September 3rd-4th.  I try to never miss it, but this year we have a family vacation planned and I am so, so sad to miss it. What do I love about it, you ask? Well, what's not to love about it!! I love looking through all of the booths. There are so many creative people in this world and Swiss Day's is where you can find so many of them in one place.

Temple Service Cards, Great for Family, Youth or Primary Service Activity

Temple Service Cards, Great for Family, Youth or Primary Service Activity,

Years ago, when I was serving in Young Women's we did a combined Young Women & Young Men activity. It was a Random Acts of Kindness Race. One of the items each group needed to do was go to the temple, wash some windows and leave a card. It is one of the many service activities that I remember.

Say, "Thank You" With These Fun Colorable Cards: Great for School Groups and Church Groups

Say, "Thank You" With These Fun Colorable Cards,

For the past few years I have been over our PTSA Student Reps at the junior high and high school. Which, means each month I get to help plan activities to help the kids be involved and make their school and community a better place. Basically, to spread goodness. For April, at the junior high we just did an activity that I labeled, Twinkies and Thank Yous. For the activity I made these thank you cards. They really could be used in so many circumstances. Print them off just to have on hand, use them in the class setting, use them for a family activity, for a church activity or for a school group.

Super Fun St. Patrick's Day Coloring Pages

Super Fun St. Patrick's Day Coloring Pages,

It's so funny, every time I share something related to St. Patrick's Day I get such mixed opinions! So, I'd love to hear, do you do anything for St. Patrick's Day, or do you treat it just like any other day. My hubby is one that never did anything for St. Patrick's Day. My mom always made it magical for us. I remember waking up to little black or green paper footprints that usually led to a treat.

Come, Follow Me 2021 Doctrine and Covenants D&C 23-26

Come, Follow Me 2021 Doctrine and Covenants D&C 23-26,

Last week, we studied the Articles and Covenants of the Church. I loved studying about the beginnings of the organization of the church and the faithful early saints!  One thing that is always constant is that this is Christ's church! We see this prevalent in the revelations given throughout the Doctrine and Covenants and we see it today, through our current prophet!

Missionary Impossible Game Review: A Fun New Latter Day Saint Game to Add to Your Home

Missionary Impossible Game Review: A Fun New Latter Day Saint Game to Add to Your Home,

This post is sponsored, all thoughts are 100% my own, I was given the game in order to review it. See full disclosure.

Some families are big game playing families. I have to be completely honest, we are not one of those families. I'm not exactly sure why, maybe it's the competiveness. We do have a fair amount of games and when we do sit down and play together we have fun doing so. It's just the initiation that we struggle with.

So, when I told my kids we had a new game and that I wanted them to play it with me, let's just say they weren't thrilled. Like most teenage boys of these days, they wanted to be playing their electronics or basketball. It was so good though to gather together as a family and have some family time!!

The game Missionary Impossible, comes with score sheets, instructions and the cards you will need to play the game. After reading the instructions we played the game the best we could. I'm not sure we played it right, actually I'm positive we didn't. But, that's usually how playing a game for the first time goes.

You can play the game as companions, we did not this first go around. There are trial cards, which you can give to the other players to thwart their progress. There are Blessing cards that help you overcome the trials. Missionary Impossible cards, destroys all of one of you opponents progress, but if they have a Golden Contact card they can overcome that as well! Transfer cards can help you overcome trials and they can get you some bonus points. I hope that I explained that all right. My kids loved to give each other the trial cards & they kept trying to guess who had the Golden Contact Cards and the Missionary Impossible cards. Which I had two of the Golden Contact Cards! I ended us winning, if my two youngest would have been companions, like they should have, then they probably would have won.

This game is great for family game night or would even be great to play with a small youth group or friends. My hubby's family loves to play games especially my kids cousins, so I could see them playing this and having a lot of fun during one of our Sunday get togethers.

Here is a little bit more about the game and how you can purchase it:

"Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It... Be the first missionary or companionship to complete 100 weeks of missionary service! But standing in your way are Trials ranging from Dog Bite to Dear Johns - while Blessings, Transfers, and Golden Contacts are there to help you along. Missionary: Impossible combines simple strategy and a measure of luck for a fast-paced, easy-to-play card game for 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up.

Amazon reviewers agree it's a FUN, CLEAN, game for the ENTIRE family!"

Here's how you can purchase it: Missionary Impossible by Aspen Books on Amazon

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

At Christmas time and last Easter we went and decorated doors. My kids loved it!! It was probably their favorite thing they did at Christmas time. My middle kiddo said it was so much fun and my youngest wanted to do it to everyone's doors. The thing about service is that it comes full circle. It blesses the lives of those you serve as well as your own life.
