Super Fun St. Patrick's Day Coloring Pages

Super Fun St. Patrick's Day Coloring Pages,

It's so funny, every time I share something related to St. Patrick's Day I get such mixed opinions! So, I'd love to hear, do you do anything for St. Patrick's Day, or do you treat it just like any other day. My hubby is one that never did anything for St. Patrick's Day. My mom always made it magical for us. I remember waking up to little black or green paper footprints that usually led to a treat.

So, when I had my own kids, you better believe I adopted celebrating St. Patrick's day. We have made many leprechaun traps over the years. Though the kids never have caught a leprechaun, he has always been very generous with sharing some treats with them.

I actually think that St. Patrick's Day is a fun holiday! So, of course I couldn't resist making some coloring pages for it! I asked my kids what they thought of when they thought of St. Patrick's Day? They said, Leprechauns, leprechaun traps, gold, rainbows, pots of gold, and horse shoes. So, I used some of their suggestions when creating the coloring pages.

There are eight different designs to choose from. Of course I needed to do a leprechaun and a rainbow! Our leprechaun is not one that is mischievous, he is just very difficult to catch. But he is always super generous with giving us treats that are green, gold or rainbow colored!

Have you ever found a four leaf clover?? Did you make a wish, did it bring you good luck?

So, we have two little yorkies now, so I just had to do a coloring page with a little puppy on it! You could also use these as place mats. Do you do anything for breakfast, lunch or dinner that has to do with St. Patty's day? One year I made these green pancakes, my kids ate them and thought I had played a trick on them because they were awful, so salty. I didn't play a trick, but rather I put a tablespoon of baking soda instead of baking powder. A total mistake.

To print the coloring pages, just click the free download button. You can print onto normal copy paper and color. Or you could print it out onto card stock or water color paper and paint it.
