I know that it is kind of last second, but that's how I seem to fly sometimes! Today, is my day to get all things Easter done. I have put together Easter eggs for all of my Primary kids. (I put a chocolate kiss and a picture of the resurrected Christ in an egg to give them tomorrow). I also, made these tags & attached them to popcorn, that I will be giving to our parents as a little Easter gift. I always like to give them something, even if it is just something little.

One of my favorite things each month is to come up with something to give my hubby's ministering families and to my ministering sisters. I find that it gives us motivation to make sure that we make a visit. Of course visiting isn't the only way that we minister to our families! I love that ministering is just being friends, caring about each other, reaching out to each other and being there for each other.

 Every year since we started with Come, Follow Me, I've made schedule cards to give to the Primary Children and youth. I give these cards to my own kids as well. My middle child really loves these cards, keeps them in his scriptures and always tells us what scriptures we are going to be studying.

I was at a friends house helping put handouts together for our Stake Primary meeting. We were talking about Christmas neighbor gifts and I had told her that I had a whole bunch on my blog. She hadn't really visited it, so I showed her some of the tags on it. She had written down a quote by President Monson, that she really loved and was thinking about doing something with it.

Every year I try to come up with something fun to give my ministering sister and neighbors for Christmas. Last year it was the Root beer Reindeer and the cookie mixes. This year, I really wanted to do gnomes. So with that in mind, I went to the store to find a container that would be my base. These ones are done our of a can of peanuts. But you could use a can of hot cocoa mix, or another nut mix. Then I knew I was probably going to use yarn for the beard. So, I went down the yarn isle. I found this faux fur yarn and immediately knew that, it was what I was going to use!! I wanted to find some wooden balls or knobs, but there were none in the store, so I knew I was just going to have to figure something out.

In January, I had this thought that I wanted to come more unto the Savior. So I decided to start focusing on His attributes. Each month there will be a Christlike attribute focus. We focused on Faith in Christ for January, Hope in February, Charity and Love in March, Virtue in April, Knowledge in May, Patience in June, Diligence in August, September was Obedience and October was Teacher.  I love being more intentional in striving to be more like my Savior. You could do this individually. Or  you could invite your Relief Society Sisters, Ministering sisters, friends or Young Women to engage in the study and development as well.

Each month, while on one of my grocery shopping trips, I have in mind, what I can give to my ministering sister and my hubby's ministering families. This month, I decided on Apple Juice. I just think it is very fitting for this fall season. One of my favorite things for Halloween is to have some hot apple cider with cinnamon sticks. My hubby's family does apple juice with dry ice creating a witches brew. So, I purchased the apple juice, now it was time to decide on a saying to go with it.

A few month's ago I had this thought that I needed to write cards to my kids and leave them with a treat on their beds. I remember sometimes my mom would leave little notes on my bed growing up and how it made me feel. So, I made these smiley face cards and wrote some personal messages in them of how wonderful I think they are.

Last year, we were "Staying Home and Staying Safe", so we didn't gather with our extended families for Easter. We wanted to let the grandparents know of our love for them, so we went and decorated their doors. We also left them a treat with a card that said, "You've been egged".
