Two Great Halloween Activity Pages That Are Essential For Your Next Party!

Two Great Halloween Activity Pages That Are Essential For Your Next Party!

Life has been so busy lately!! You should see my kitchen, usually I never let dishes pile up in both sides of my sink. But between teaching seminary again, planning a ward party and just life with kids, I've fallen behind a little on those every day house duties. With being so busy, I haven't been posting on here regularly. I had some much interest in both of these activity pages, that I really wanted to get them posted on here. So, if you can use them this year great! If not this year, make sure you save them or pin them for next year.

New Years Bingo Cards and Coloring Pages

New Years Bingo Cards and Coloring Pages,

Bingo is always a go to for any party, especially that has kids at it! I think any party I've done in elementary school, there has always been a Bingo game. As you can tell, by how many Bingo games I have designed, that I am a big fan.

So, when I was thinking about what I could do for New Years, I decided to make some Bingo cards. On the printable, there are four different cards. There are also choosing cards.

Print the New Years Bingo Cards out onto card stock, then cut them so there are four cards. If you need more than that you could just print more cards. I think it is fine if some have the same card and get Bingo at the same time. You can also laminate them, so you can use them more than once and to make them more durable.

For Bingo Markers,  you could either use pieces of candy, such as M&M's, Skittles, Smarties, Sprees, Sweat Tarts etc. Or you could just cut out pieces of paper. If the cards are laminated, you could also use dry erase markers and mark them off that way.

For the Choosing cards, you will also need to print them out one card stock. Cut them out down the middle of the lines and then you could laminate them also for durability. Choosing cards are then placed in a container, where that Bingo caller, pulls one out and tells the rest of the players which thing they can mark off.

Click the free download button below, to print the Choosing cards:

To play this New Years Bingo game. Have the caller pull out a card, players mark it off. A player gets Bingo, when they have marked off 4 in a row either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. You could have little treats or prizes for when someone wins bingo. You could also play to blackout. That is when everyone fills their entire card out.

I have great memories of playing Bingo when I was little, it was one of my favorite games, that and memory. I hope that this free printable game, can bring some fun and entertainment to you New Years Party!! Happy New Years!!

Valentine's Day!! What do you love about it? What do you not love about it? For me, I think Valentine's Day has always been a day of excitement. I remember as a child getting a special knock on our front door, with Valentine's with each of our names laying on the doorstep. Both my grandparents and my parents tried to make the day special. I have strived to carry this tradition on with my own kids! Who doesn't love a surprise on the doorstep?!?

Thank You Baskets with Free Tag Printable

I love to make little favors to give out at my kiddos baptisms.  Just a little thank you to family members for their love and support. This year I found these white paper baskets at the dollar store (in the baby shower/bridal section) and could not resist. I put some fun tissue paper in them and then filled them with candy.  Lastly, I tied on the tag with some twine and it was ready to hand out.  Free printable for the Thank You tags below.

Shake, Shake, Shake Maracas...Homemade Maracas!

Day 9 and 10 of the 12 Days of Halloween Fun: Halloween Games and Printables

Ideas for Primary 1 manual, Lesson 12: I Am Thankful for Animals and Lesson 13:I Am Thankful for Birds and Insects

Aren't the Sunbeam lessons the funnest!  I was reviewing this weeks lessons (we missed classes last week, so we are combining #12 & 13 this week) and I had so many fun, cute ideas come to mind.

These would also just be great for preschool or kindergarten, also!

Here they are:

Bee Puppets:

I made these bee finger puppets a few years ago, out of felt.  I traced my finger onto some paper and then made it about 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch bigger. Then I traced them onto the felt, cut them out and sewed them on the sewing machine. For the black stripes I used black yarn and hot glued them around the felt. For the wings, I used black pipe cleaner forming them into winds by bending and twisting, then glued them on with the hot glue.  The eyes were just drawn on with a permanent black marker. And for the little antennas I tied a knot in some black button thread (it's pretty thick and stiff). Then with a needle I sewed it up through the top of the bee, tied a knot right next to the felt and then tied a knot at the end.  I did this for each antenna. Hope that all makes sense.  You could talk to them about what bees do, maybe have some flowers, and you could talk to them about where bees live.  Even sing the "Baby Bumble Bee Song" it can be found here.

Another fun thing might be a small Animal/insect bingo game.  You could use cereal, marshmallows, small candies like smarties or skittles, or you could just use paper for the kids to mark their spaces.
