November Week 3 Topic: I can teach my friends about Jesus Christ and His Church.

Preparation:

Prayerfully study and think about what the specific needs of your primary are and how you can teach them this doctrine. The most important thing is to love those you teach and to teach them by the Spirit!! Focus on building their testimonies and helping them come unto Christ! (All printables for this sharing time can be found and printed by clicking the "Free Printable Download" button. They are free and can be printed and used for personal and church purposes)

Sharing Time Instruction:

To begin primary show the primary children a picture of the Savior. Explain to the primary children that sometimes they will come upon friends and neighbors who do not know about Jesus Christ and his church. Ask the primary children to tell you what they know about Jesus Christ. Then ask them to share what they know about his church.

Show the primary children the week's theme poster and invite them to repeat, "I can teach my friends about Jesus Christ and His Church"

Share the story that President Spencer W. Kimball shared about the boy on the train. You can find it here, start with the third paragraph, you can also paraphrase it in consideration of time.

Explain to the primary children that just like this little boy, they can learn the Articles of Faith and gain a testimony of them. They can teach their friends about Jesus Christ and the his church.

Give each of the primary children the Articles of Faith Coloring Packet. Divide them into 5-6 groups. In a container have the numbers 1-13. Explain to the primary that you would like one person from each group come and draw a number out.

Whichever number they draw out will be the Article of Faith that their group will talk about and then teach. Give them a few minutes to discuss as a group. As they are discussing you could have music playing in the background.

Invite one group at a time to come up and teach the rest of the primary about their Article of Faith.

Close by sharing your testimony of teaching friends about Jesus Christ and His Church.
