Relief Society Visiting Teaching Message Ideas for March 2018: Pray for Each Sister by Name

Relief Society Visiting Teaching Message Ideas for March 2018:

Pray for Each Sister by Name
My Thoughts:

I have found in my life that when you pray for someone, you feelings of love for them grow stronger. So wouldn't it make sense that we include the sisters that we visit in our prayers?!

I really love that the messages each month focus on how we can better minister to those we visit! This quote from this months message is great, “Think of our combined strength if every sister had sincere prayer every morning and night or, better yet, prayed unceasingly as the Lord has commanded,” said Julie B. Beck, former General Relief Society President. Praying for those we visit strengthens us as individuals and as Latter-day Saint women." (March 2018 Ensign Magazine)

What does your sister need? Is it a certain gospel message? Is it going to lunch together, or just texts letting her know you are there and sincerely care?  Praying about our sisters will help us know what they need, it will bring strength and guidance to us as Visiting Teachers and as I said before, it will increase that love that we have for them.

As I was thinking about something fun to give, I wanted to combine Easter with prayer. Here is a fun printable that you could print and attached to a baggy of egg or jelly bean candy's. If you don't want to do the fold over the bag, then just cut the top part off and punch a hole in the corner & use it as a tag ;) Click the free download button below to print your tags.

I would love to hear what you guys are doing to minister to your sisters! Comment below!

I hope these ideas have been helpful. Really the most important thing is that your sisters know you care about them, that you are their friend :) If you'd like more Visiting Teaching Ideas follow my Visiting Teaching Pinterest Board
