January 2015 Sharing Time Topic: "We Believe in God the Eternal Father and in His Son, Jesus Christ"
January Week 2 Topic: "Jesus Christ is the Son of God."

Preparation:
Prayerfully study and think about what the specific needs of your primary are and how you can teach them this doctrine. Print printables and gather paper and drawing supplies for each class.
Sharing Time Instruction:
Begin sharing time by following up with last week's sharing time. Invite the children to share what they remember learning in the previous week's sharing time. Remind them that they learned that they are the spirit children of Heavenly Father. Explain that we have an elder brother who was the first spirit child of Heavenly Father and his only begotten in the flesh. Invite the children to share who that person is. Place the poster on the board, "Jesus Christ is the Son of God". Invite the children to repeat the phrase with you.
Explain to the children that you would like their help in teaching sharing time today. Give each class a scripture. Invite them to read the scripture as a class and then draw a picture about the Savior. Explain that when they are done, then you would like one class at a time to come up and teach the rest of primary about what they have read and drew about the Savior. (See printable above for scripture references, they will be labeled in sequential order of Christ's life) After each class shares their thoughts and scriptures, explain how that even is testimony that the Savior is the Son of God.
Thank the primary children for their participation in teaching sharing time. Share your testimony that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
