May 2014 Visit Teaching Message: Wanted: Hands and Hearts to Hasten the Work (Chosen from April 2014 Conference Talks)

May is one of my favorite times for Visit Teaching Messages, because we get to choose from the previous month's conference talks.  I have chose to share with my sister's the talk by Sister Linda K. Burton who is the Relief Society General President, the talk was given at the General Women's Conference. Here is the link to the talk, Wanted: Hands and Hearts to Hasten the Work: BY LINDA K. I loved how she spoke of being a true disciples, she says, "As true disciples, may we offer our willing hearts and our helping hands to hasten His work."  I also loved the quote she quoted from Elder M. Russell Ballard, “Between now and the day the Lord comes again, He needs women in every family, in every ward, in every community, in every nation who will step forward in righteousness and say by their words and their actions, ‘Here am I, send me.’ My question is, ‘Will you be one of those women?’”  I think that as we were in heaven and that question was asked, we all stood up and eagerly raised our hands and said that we would "be one of those women"! What an amazing responsibility!!
