Sharing Time Instruction:

Before, Sharing Time give children pieces to the puzzle.  At the beginning of sharing time invite the children with the pieces of the puzzle to come up and work together to put the puzzle together. After they have completed the puzzle, tell them how thank you that they worked together.  Invite the rest of the primary to repeat, "Successful families work together."

Explain that the puzzle was a lot easier to put together, because everyone had their piece/or part and each person contributed working together to accomplish the puzzle.

Show the primary children the picture of Noah's Arch, ask the children, if they think that Noah's family had to work together to build the arch and do as Heavenly Father commanded them to do?  Discuss with the children some ways Noah's family might have worked together. Such as gathering wood for the arch. Gathering food for when they would be on the arch. Building the arch, Herding the animals, etc.

Explain just as Noah's family worked together, our families can work together also. Explain that as we work together as a family, our relationships with our family members are strengthened. We learn how to cooperate, communicate with each other, and to be successful.

Play Chalk Board Pictionary:

Invite a child to come up and draw a picture of a they can do to work together as a family. Example: A child could draw their family pulling weeds together or raking leaves.  Invite the rest of the primary children to guess what he/she is drawing. When the drawing is guessed, invite another child to come up and draw another picture, continue as time allows.

Close by sharing your testimony on the week's topic and invite the primary children to work together with their families.
