"Warm" Welcome to the Neighborhood Gift Packet

A fun way to welcome your new neighbors into the neighborhood, give them a "Warm" Welcome!

Do you remember when you moved into a new neighborhood? What was your experience? When we moved in, I was so impressed at all of the warm welcomes we received! Before we were officially moved in, we had neighbors bringing us cakes, the primary president coming to welcome us, and other neighbors dropping in to say hi.

The other day my son came home from fast packs and told me something that made me realize that I haven't been that good of a warm welcoming neighbor. He told me that our newish, neighbors didn't know who I was! Yep, I live right up the street from them, I attend church with them and because my failure of being welcoming, they didn't know who I was.

So, when I saw lights on at the newly built house in our neighborhood with cars parked out front, I decided that I has going to be a better, more welcoming neighbor!

I picked up some Hot Cocoa Mix at the store and made these fun printables to go along with it!

We will be delivering these today as part of the Worldwide Day of Service and with #LightTheWorld. But, these tags could be used any time of year!

The Brown Paper Packages by Polka Dot Poplars is so adorable!! They are a featured blogger on Sugardoodle for the #LIGHTtheWORLD initiative. This would be so cute to give to a new neighbor, you could even put the hot chocolate mix and tags inside!

Here is the download for the printable to paste onto the Brown Paper Bags!

(Visit their page for more cute Brown Paper Bag ideas! You have to check out the Door hangers, so cute!)

This would have to be specifically for Christmas time, so it would be more of a Christmas Neighbor gift. But how cute is the Gingerbread house container!! TOO cute right! These were designed by Maria and hosted on The Red Headed Hostess site, I am so excited to team up with them and feature them here too!
